Hi! I’m Miranda and I am very privileged to open my doors to those needing support and healing in an inclusive, safe environment. My approach to clinical practice is compassionate, open-minded and 100% patient centred. I thrive on combining both traditional and contemporary treatment techniques to provide my patients and their families with well-informed and thoughtful healthcare.

As an integrative and dedicated Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner, I have devoted my entire adult life to the comprehensive study and practice of this ancient healing art. I was introduced to Acupuncture during my formative years and was captivated by the profound teachings of Chinese Medicine. This led me to pursue an Acupuncture degree at Endeavour College of Natural Medicine at the age of 18, from which I graduated with Distinction in 2012.

With 17+ years of experience, encompassing over a decade in private practice and six years of dedicated university education, I have had the opportunity to hone my Chinese Medicine skillset. I have gained extensive experience treating a wide range of clinical presentations however have developed a passion and specialised focus in the areas of Reproductive and Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal medicine.

My dedication to helping each individual achieve optimum health often involves a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with my patient’s medical team or referring to external allied health practitioners to ensure the most comprehensive approach to patient care.

Beyond providing treatments, my passion extends to the joy of teaching and mentoring the next generation of Acupuncturists and allied health practitioners. In alignment with this, facilitating workshops is my way of giving back, allowing me to share the transformative magic of Chinese Medicine and witness the enthusiasm and excitement of my students as they seamlessly incorporate their newfound knowledge into their own practices.

I have had the pleasure of practicing Acupuncture in Dunsborough for over a decade since moving to Western Australia from Queensland in 2013. I founded my company Dunsborough Acupuncture four years later in 2017, its sister company TCM Centre in 2022 and is now I am very proud to have opened my own clinic – Dunsborough Acupuncture & Recovery Centre in 2024.
