Our premises are fitted with two luxurious custom-built Infrared Saunas, an Ice Bath and a sensory deprivation Magnesium Float Tank.

Our spacious infrared saunas were designed and built to accommodate 5-6 people comfortably and are something to be experienced as you relax and unwind.

Our saunas use the highest quality long wave or far-infrared (FIR) panels. FIR has the longest wave length and can penetrate the deepest into the body, effortlessly penetrating the muscles, connective tissues and joints. FIR is often associated with various health benefits including pain relief, relaxation and detoxification.

Our Ice Bath and sensory deprivation Magnesium Float Tank are manufactured by Dreampod who are industry leaders in purpose built commercial float, plunge and soak equipment. Our equipment is temperature controlled at all times and has automated cleaning cycles after each use providing our customers with the most consistent and hygienic floating and plunging experience possible.

Please note that if you arrive late this will be deducted from your session time.

It is vital to the smooth operation of the Recovery Centre that all patrons leave before the end of their session time.

All patrons should bring swimwear, 2 towels, water bottle and clean, dry clothes to get changed into.

Patrons must have a towel to sit on in the sauna at all times.

If using the Float tank patrons must bring 2 towels. If forgotten towels are available to rent for $5.

If using the Ice Bath or the Float Tank patrons must wear Lycra or form-fitting swimwear.

Strictly no board shorts or loose clothing in water equipment (Ice Bath and Float Tank).

Care should be taken to dry off as much as possible when returning to the sauna after using the Ice Bath to help protect our equipment.

Patrons with long hair should tie it up in a bun when in the Float Tank.

Some patrons may wish to bring ear plugs or a swimming cap when using the Float Tank.

Hire out the entire Recovery Centre for your group of up to 12 people for an event, birthday, retreat, workshop, hens/bucks, wedding party, function, sporting team or any other reason you can think of.

If you have specific needs or questions please contact us directly to discuss and get a quote. We’re more than happy to accommodate for your group or function.

We recommend 1.5 hour (or longer) sessions for groups of more than 8 people.

18+ years patrons are welcome to book in and use the Recovery Centre services freely.

The Recovery Centre is not supervised by staff therefore children are not permitted.

Minimum age of entry is 16 years and must be accompanied by an adult.

Management reserves the right to ask patrons to leave who are misusing the space or who are disturbing others.

Recovery Centre rescheduling and cancellations can be done through our DARC App.

Alternatively, you can call the clinic and speak to one of our friendly reception staff.

Recovery Centre sessions cancelled within 3 hours of when they are booked will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. No-show’s will forfeit their session fee entirely.

Unfortunately, parking is tight in Dunsborough’s Light Industrial Area (LIA). Dunsborough Acupuncture has a small amount of allocated parking at the clinic. However, most of the available space is verge parking and can be found within a block of the building. Please allow at least 10 mins before your session time to find parking and walk over if necessary.

Disabled parking can be found within the Dunsborough Acupuncture clinic parking lot.

Unfortunately, not. Although we would love to accommodate for people of all abilities our Recovery Centre is located on our second floor and is accessible only via a flight of stairs. Due to this building layout restriction, we are unable to offer wheelchair access, people who are not confident on stairs may also not be able to access our Recovery Centre. Please note that our clinic and all services located on the bottom floor are wheelchair friendly and can accommodate for all.
